If DRS is installed, water and fertilizers are delivered directly to the subsoil and roots.
The subsoil is kept moist, feeding the roots with the necessary water and fertilizers.
Total irrigation times are reduced, up to 50-75% less water and fertilizers are used, and weed growth is drastically reduced.
